April Adventures - Day 16

It seemed like a cup of coffee day as last Tuesday's attempt at coffee failed miserably. The scent made me think of the summer and the honeymoon. Coffee in the morning in the Adirondacks can't be beat!

Then I went off to Bible study. It was really nice, and almost everyone was able to make it today which was great! I got a call from my mom just before I left, and she asked if I was still planning on going to see the new Mary Poppins movie at the library.

I had completely forgot, but had nothing imminent planned for the afternoon. Our cousins and grandparents joined us as well. It was very crowded so since mom and I had seen it already, we went across the street for a coffee "date".

Well, she got coffee. I tried a frozen lemonade! It was so good! Definitely gonna get it again sometime. And! The guy who made it, gave me a medium when I had ordered a small, so that was extra exciting!

This evening, my mother in law took us all out for dinner for my birthday. I wanted seafood, so we got to enjoy a yummy dinner at Red Lobster! It was delicious! Thanks again for that!! After dinner, we hung out with her for a bit, and then came home. John gave me several lessons on Bible passages I needed clarification on, as well as a few other topics he gets passionate about. I've learned, if I get stuck on a passage or chapter that Paul has written, I usually can have him sum it up in a few sentences and then it suddenly makes a lot more sense. It's worth keeping him around for that reason. 😉 Just kidding honey...it's also worth keeping you around to do the dishes, and lift the water jug. Well, for all the kitchen tasks right now, haha!
