Woke up earlier than I had hoped to today since John didn't go into work until later than usual.
And he was super sweet and even cleaned up the kitchen for me! I was soooo thankful for that as I've not really been up to it.
In exchange, and gratefulness, and sheer annoyance from the one sheet set we have, I made the bed. One out of the three sets is actually nice on our bed. I love all of them, but after using them for nearly a year, you learn the quirks of which fitted sheets will stay on for more than 5 seconds and which decide to pop off the corners the moment you breathe in the room. And with getting out of bed every 2hrs to use the bathroom at night, I had had enough! 😂
My sisters came over for lunch and to spend the day. We played numerous card games and board games.
They also found my complete set of Gilligan's Island and watched a few episodes they haven't seen in a long time as their copy had scratches.
After they left, John and I went on a date that my grandparents gave as a early birthday gift! We went and saw a recording of Sights and Sounds Noah! John was highly impressed by it. I had seen a couple recordings of their productions as well as one or two in person, and it still was amazing to see!
We came home and I found my first birthday card in the mail! 💙 It made me smile when I saw the return address. Tomorrow is the last day of 20...and then I'll be officially officially legally able to anything. Kind of mind boggling honestly! I'm going to finish my lemonade...we stopped at McDonald's for dinner on the way (SO YUMMY lol!)...happily going to savor the last of my lemonade and then head to bed. Getting up bright and early for my checkup tomorrow. 😊
