The sun was shining this morning! It was glorious! I've been kinda annoyed when the sun is bright and wakes me up, but today I was happy because it was sunny AND warm.
I felt inspired to enjoy it with a cup of coffee.
It was cheap coffee...and so terrible that not even Hershey's chocolate syrup helped. Don't ask me where I got it. It was bad.
Undeterred, I felt quite springy and pretty today with the happy sunshine!
The trees are waking up for the year. 💙
I even wore sandals today because the SUN WAS OUT! Ahh, so happy. I hear it's going to be cold tomorrow as the temperature is already dropping but I don't mind. One day so far is nice!
After bible study, John and I went on a quick date to the mall for REAL COFFEE. It's the 9th, which was perfectly timed so it was on sale at the Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters! I got some decaf French Vanilla and some German Chocolate Cake.
I also wanted to try one of their "spring" drinks. So I ordered a "Peeps Latte" but they made me the "Peeps Milkshake". It was still pretty good! John tried it and said it reminded him of "Lucky Charms".
After dinner, I ended up going back to the mall with my mom for a few things. It was nice to get out with her for the evening. They even gave me a little goodie bag with baby coupons and such for signing up with them.
And finally, after patiently waiting all weekend as they accidentally went home with my family on Friday, I got to meet my new friends! I've already picked out a favorite of the new teacups and have it front and center in my cupboard so I can make a proper cup of tea! Definitely need to plan a tea party now.... Anyone game?
