April Adventures - Day 15

It was a quiet day today for us. I was about to start making breakfast for myself when John got home from work as he only has the one job with spring break. We kinda bummed around for the main part of the day. Then we saw the news come across:

We watched in horror for a little bit on a live-stream. I've always wanted to visit France, and it was heartbreaking to see this happen. I'm so thankful that no one was seriously injured, and then to see the update a little while ago!! The center of the cathedral is miraculously intact!

With that going on in the world, I made some coffee and tried to keep up to date on it. I've never really followed anything like this before, and I couldn't help myself. Many priceless things were lost, but again, thankfully last I knew, no one was seriously injured.

Still working on my leftovers from my birthday, so rice and ribs for dinner. I wasn't sure if I'd like the rice as it could be dry, but it isn't! I've really liked the rice!

Right before the sun went down, I was chilling with John in the middle room. I glanced out the window to see the tops of the trees aglow! So I threw on a jacket and shoes to go down and see the sunset.

It wasn't super crazy, but the glow was beautiful. It was a nice way to end our quiet day before our busier week.
