In which Edward turns One!

"When are you due?" asked the clerk at Byrne Dairy.

"A week ago." I said laughing. "We are headed up to the hospital today to have him evicted!"

Exactly 16 hrs to the minute after this was taken, Edward Allen arrived!

8lbs, 8oz; 20.5 in long!

He and Daddy got to spend a lot of time bonding. 💙

We love you, our sweet little Eddie! We've enjoyed this first year with you and can't wait to see what the next one has in store! You now have 4 teeth, have walked a tiny bit, and eat like a champ! You've breastfed for a year which is an accomplishment for both of us! You are such a people person and adore all attention. You're great at playing by yourself but you like to keep an eye on Mommy and Daddy. We pray that you will grow in the Lord as you continue to get older! Church is one of your favorite places to be. We love you, Eddie!!! Can't wait for more adventures!

I got a couple where he wasn't crying, but honestly it's kinda funny. He had his 6m checkup today, and of course he turns 7m today but close enough. He is 16lbs 7oz and 28in long. 95th% for weight and 86th% for height! He's so big!!❤

My goodness he looks like me in this comparison! (I'm the bottom right!)

All in all, this kiddo is growing up too fast!❤

It's awesome to look back and see how Eddie's grown! Tomorrow we will go and find out his height and weight at his check-up. He rolled over from his belly to his back the other day. He hasn't figured out how he managed to do that so I'm excitedly waiting to see when he does it again! He loves to sit up to look around when he is on someone's lap.
